How to make your use of Mobile Meditation easier than an app

Please add the following links to your favorites or bookmark them on your web browser so that you have immediate access. To avoid the need for logging in, either allow your device to save your password or remember not to sign out at the end of your session.

Open the first Home link above and then follow the instructions below for your preferred desktop and mobile web browsers. Repeat for the link to Daily Glimpses.
   
Safari Mobile:

You can follow the instructions below or watch this video on YouTube.
  1. Open the link above in Safari. With the webpage open, touch and hold the bookmark icon on the navigation bar at the bottom of your phone’s screen. 
  2. Tap Add Bookmark.
  3. Under “Location,” tap the star icon if that is visible, or tap the name of a folder you have used before. Both ways give you the ability to create a new folder.
  4. Tap + New Folder and type in the title “Effortless Mindfulness,” hit Save, and then Save again.
  5. Use the Effortless Mindfulness folder as your Location when repeating these steps for the second link.

To open your saved bookmark:
1. Open your Safari browser 
2. Click the bookmark icon on the navigation bar at the bottom of your phone’s screen.
3. Tap Favorites, select the Effortless Mindfulness folder and the name of the desired page.

Safari Desktop: 

You can follow the instructions below or watch this video on YouTube.
1. First create a new folder for the links by opening Bookmarks at the top of Safari.
2. Click Add Bookmark Folder.
3. Title the new folder “Effortless Mindfulness” and hit Enter.
4. Open the “Home Page” link provided above in Safari.5. Click the Share button in the Safari toolbar.
6. Select the Effortless Mindfulness folder. 
7. Click Add.
8. Repeat steps 4-7 for the second link above, Daily Glimpses.

To open your saved bookmark:
1. Open your Safari browser 
2. Click Bookmarks at the top of Safari.
3. Select the Effortless Mindfulness folder and the name of the desired page.

Chrome Mobile:

You can follow the instructions below or watch this video on YouTube.
  1. Open the link in the Chrome browser.
  2. Click on the Share icon near the top right of the screen beside the URL address for the web page.
  3. In the dialog that opens, scroll down to the button that says Bookmark and click it to save the link as a bookmark.

To recall your saved bookmark:
 
  1. Open the Chrome browser. 
  2. Click the three dot icon (...) near the bottom right of your phone’s screen.
  3. Select Bookmarks.
  4. Select Mobile Bookmarks and it should open to a page where you can select your desired bookmark.

Chrome Desktop:

You can follow the instructions below or watch this video on YouTube.
  1. Open the link above in Chrome. Click on the star icon in the top right of the URL address bar near where you enter the URL address or link information for the web page.
  2. Select a folder location for the bookmark using the box that pops up after selecting the star icon. Adding the bookmark to the “Bookmarks Bar” will make it visible at the top of your screen near the URL address. Give the bookmark a title that you will easily remember such as “Effortless Mindfulness.”
  3. Click Done.

To recall your saved bookmark:
  1. Open the Chrome browser.  
  2. Move your cursor to the top of the screen until the Chrome menu bar becomes visible with “Bookmarks” listed on the menu. Click “Bookmarks” on the menu and scroll down the list to select the desired bookmark. 
  3. If you saved the bookmark to the “Bookmarks Bar”, it should be visible at the top of the screen on the bar just below where you enter the URL address or link to access a web page. 

Edge Desktop:

You can follow the instructions below or watch this video on YouTube.
  1. Open the link above in the Edge browser.
  2. Click the Favorites button in the toolbar.
  3. Within the Favorites window, click the Add folder button  in the toolbar at the top, name the folder “Effortless Mindfulness” and close the dialog box.
  4. Open the first link above, called Home, in Safari.
  5. Look for the button in the address bar and click to Add this page to favorites.
  6. Select the Effortless Mindfulness folder and click Done.

To recall your saved bookmark:
1. Open the Edge browser  .
2. Click the Favorites button  in the toolbar.
3. Select the Effortless Mindfulness folder and open the desired page.

Firefox Mobile:

  1. Open the link above in the Firefox browser. 
  2. Select the icon with the three horizontal lines  in the bottom right corner of the screen. 
  3. Navigate to “Bookmarks” on the menu that pops up after selecting the icon and click “Add” 
  4. A message should pop up at the bottom of your screen that reads “Bookmark added” along with an option to click an “Edit” button to rename the bookmark if you would like.

To recall your saved bookmark:
1. Open the Firefox browser. 
2. Select the icon with the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of the screen. 
3. Navigate to “Bookmarks” on the menu that pops up after selecting the icon and click “Bookmarks”
4. Scroll down the list that pops up and select your desired bookmark. 

Firefox Desktop:

  1. Open the link above in Firefox. 
  2. Click on the star icon in the top right of the URL address bar near where you enter the URL address or link information to access a web page

What forms of payment do you accept?
You can make payments by credit card or through PayPal. For more information on PayPal payments, please reach out to us at support@lochkelly.org. If you would like to request an installment plan for your payments, please send an email to support@lochkelly.org

Can the Glimpses be downloaded?
Glimpses are not available for download. However, most Glimpses can be accessed in various Programs, such as the Intro Program and Glimpses From Loch’s Book where you can spend as much time with a favorite Glimpse as you like. You might want to save the webpage of a particular Glimpse as a favorite in your browser for quick access.

How do I find community support for my practice?
Loch has found that self-organizing peer groups can offer valuable ongoing support for his students. If that is something you would enjoy, please visit the Connect with Community program to see more about the suggested group format and available online meeting times.

How do I learn more about Loch’s books?
You can start by visiting our Books by Loch Kelly page. A great introduction to Loch’s teachings is The Way of Effortless Mindfulness. If you would like to go deeper into the theory behind Effortless Mindfulness, Shift into Freedom is a good choice.

How do I learn about events Loch will be holding?
Loch periodically holds both in-person and online workshops and retreats, which you can see on our Events page. Loch also hosts question and answer sessions exclusively for Mobile Meditation participants, which you can learn about in the Online Q&A with Loch program.

How can I send a message to Loch?

We also have an Effortless Mindfulness student testimonial form that you could use to share your testimonial. We have also created an online survey where you can provide feedback on using our Effortless Mindfulness Mobile.

Do you have an app?
The launch date for the Effortless Mindfulness app in the Apple and Google stores will be January 2023.

Is Loch offering 1:1 consultations/teachings?
Loch is not seeing clients privately and does not meet with individual students as he teaches online and in-person workshops and retreats. He recommends the mobile meditation platform and joining a small peer group through the program Connect with Community. You can request a list of students who integrate his work into IFS by sending an email to contact@lochkelly.org. These students of Loch are IFS-trained or knowledgeable Therapists, Coaches, and Counselors.
